Title VI Civil Rights Policy Statement
Lake Links treats its customers with respect and integrity:
Lake Links in accordance with the United States Department of Transportation Title VI Regulations (49 CFR part 21) operates its programs without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, sexual preference, marital status, age, medical condition, or disability in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, California Civil Code section 51(b), or other applicable law.
Lake Links takes steps to ensure meaningful access to the benefits, services, information and other important portions of their programs and activities for Limited English Proficient (“LEP”) persons. LEP persons include those individuals whose primary language is not English and who have a limited ability to read, write, speak or understand English and have reported to the U.S. Census that they do not speak English well or do not speak English at all.
Title VI Notice to Beneficiaries
Lake Links Inc operates its programs and services without regard to race, color and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with Lake Links Inc.
